A Farmer went trotting upon his grey mare

A Farmer went trotting upon his grey mare

A farmer went trotting upon his grey mare,
Bumpety, Bumpety, bump !
With his daughter behind so rosy and fair,
A raven cried, Croak ! and they went tumbling down,
Bumpety, bumpety, bump !
The mare broke her knees and the farmer his crown,
Lumpety, lumpety, lump !
The mischievous raven flew laughing away,
Bumpety, bumpety, bump !
And vowed he would serve them the same the next day,
Lumpety, lumpety, lump !

A kiss when I wake

A kiss when I wake in the morning,
A kiss when I go to bed,
A kiss when l burn my fingers,
A kiss when l bump my head.
A kiss when my bath begins,
A kiss when my bath is over,
My mamma is as full of kisses
As a nurse is full of pins.
A kiss when l pull her hair,
A kiss when l play with my rattle,
She covered me all over with kisses
The day l fell down stairs.
A kiss when l give her trouble,
A kiss when l give her joy;
There's nothing like mamma's kisses
To her own little boy.

A swarm of bees in May

A swarm of bees in May
Is worth a load of hay;
A swarm of bees in June
Is worth a silver spoon;
A swarm of bees in July
Is not worth a fly.

A Duck And A Drake

A duck and a drake,
And a nice barley cake,
With a penny to pay the old baker;
A hop and a scotch
Is another notch,
Slitherum, slitherum, take her!

A dimple on your cheek

A dimple on your cheek,
You are gentle and meek.
A dimple on your chin,
You've a devil within.

A Diller A Dollar

A diller, a dollar,
A ten o'clock scholar,
What makes you come so soon?
You used to come at ten o'clock,
But now you come at noon.

A Cock and Bull Story

The cock's on the housetop blowing his horn;
The bull's in the barn a-threshing of corn;
The maids in the meadows are making of hay;
The ducks in the river are swimming away.
